The political fire of reservation has erupted in Chhattisgarh. The High Court has quashed the reservation of 58 percent for government jobs and examinations as unconstitutional. Only 50 percent reservation is allowed. In such a situation, there has been a situation of great confusion in the class wise reservation of the state. But at this time the political mercury is also high. BJP and Congress are blaming each other for this.
BJP told Congress government anti-tribal
In fact, on Wednesday, BJP veteran tribal leaders held a press conference in Raipur. During this, the Congress government has been described by the BJP as anti-tribal and it has been alleged that the Congress government is spending crores of rupees to save the accused in the Naan scam, but good lawyers have not been kept for the fight for the rights of the tribals. Congress has some conspiracy behind this.
BJP’s tribal leader Nandkumar Sai alleged that in the 32 percent reservation of tribals, 12 percent has been reduced. Due to this the tribal society is upset. He alleged that the Congress government deliberately did this to weaken the tribes.
Congress said – BJP did not submit the report
Responding to the allegations of BJP, PCC Chief Mohan Markam has also held a press conference in the State Congress Bhawan. He blamed the BJP government for this. He said that till 2018, the BJP government was there, then why did they not put the report of the committee formed under the chairmanship of the then Home Minister before the court.
He alleged that the previous BJP government Dr. Raman Singh is responsible for this unfortunate situation. There is a flaw in the intention of the BJP. His government had time from 2012 to 2018 but he did not keep his word. By reducing the reservation of one class, the BJP increases the reservation of the other party.
Now the Congress government will go to the Supreme Court
After this, Mohan Markam also said that the Congress government will appeal against the decision of the High Court in the Supreme Court. Talking to the media, he said that there are more than 50 percent reservation in many states of the country, they are not facing any problem. Our government will also go to the Supreme Court. Law experts say that in very special circumstances, more than 50 percent reservation can be kept.
