Muslim Couple Donate In Temple: Setting an example in the country, a Muslim couple from Chennai donated Rs 1 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust on Tuesday. Tirupati temple and Tirumala temple are run by this trust. Subina Banu and Abdul Ghani, residents of Chennai, donated furniture and utensils worth about 87 lakhs for the newly built Padmavati Rest House. Apart from this, they have also given a check of Rs 15 lakh to the SV Anna Prasadam Trust. This news, quoted by the “Times of India” news website, revealed that this donation given by him was received by an officer of the trust, AV Dharma Reddy. He also thanked these two couples and blessed them.

Donated in many Hindu temples

Let us tell you that this couple has already donated to many Hindu temples. Abdul Ghani is a businessman by profession. Earlier he has also donated to Balaji temple. In the year 2020, he donated a multifunctional tractor-mounted sprayer to spray disinfectant in the temple premises during the corona pandemic. Earlier, he had donated a refrigerator truck worth Rs 35 lakh to the temple to transport vegetables.

Trust has already received such donations

Lord Venkateswara Temple is located in the hill town of Tirumala near Tirupati. It is located in the Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh, at a distance of about 600 km from Hyderabad. In the same year, another devotee from Chennai donated about Rs 9.2 crore to this 10th century temple. However, the devotee died, after which his sister donated the immovable property worth Rs 6 crore and a check of Rs 3.2 crore to the chairman of this trust.
