Mumbai Shiv Sena Dussehra Rally: Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray-led faction and Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has not yet given permission to the Dussehra rally, led by Eknath Shinde. Now there has also been a reaction from former Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar. Mayor said that whatever programs are held in Chhatrapati Shivaji Park ground, permission is given by BAC every time, but this time they have deliberately stuck it.
Let us tell you that Dussehra rally is to be organized on October 5 at the historic Shivaji Park in Mumbai, but BMC has not given permission for it yet. Because Uddhav Thackeray faction and CM Shinde faction have sought separate permission for this. On the other hand, on not giving permission to Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park, BMC officials said that permission for this rally was denied on the basis of law and order issues raised by Mumbai Police.
Who asked for permission when?
Giving information about this, BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said that the BMC did not allow both the factions of Shiv Sena to organize the rally to be held at Shivaji Park. Because in terms of law and order, if any one group is allowed to rally, there can be a serious problem in Shivaji Park. Therefore, the BMC sent a letter to both the groups informing them about not allowing the Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park. On August 22, Anil Desai of the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena had sought permission from the BMC for the Shiv Sena’s Dussehra rally to be held at Shivaji Park. After this, on August 30, Shinde faction MLA Sada Sarvankar also applied to the BMC to organize a Dussehra rally.
