Bihar Governor: After falling ill, Bihar Governor Fagu Chauhan was admitted to Patna’s Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday, where he has been referred to Delhi AIIMS after seeing his condition not improving. After this, Fagu Chauhan has been brought from Patna to Delhi by special air ambulance. Sources in the Raj Bhavan of Bihar have given this information. 74-year-old Fagu Chauhan was appointed as the Governor of Bihar in July 2019. He is the 29th Governor of Bihar.
According to information received from Raj Bhavan, Fagu Chauhan has been referred from Patna hospital to Delhi. Fagu Chauhan was complaining of fever and urine infection. He was admitted to the unit of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Head of the Department of Urology at IGIMS on Thursday morning. He had already had angioplasty, due to which the doctors of the cardiology department also examined him.
Recruitment was done on Thursday due to deteriorating health
According to sources, Fagu Chauhan’s health had worsened and he was in a semi-conscious state, after which he was taken to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) here. The doctors there said, “The governor was suffering from fever for three days. When his condition worsened on Thursday, he was immediately admitted to the hospital but on Friday when his condition did not improve, it was decided to take him to Delhi.
Fagu Chauhan is a resident of UP
Born on January 1, 1948, Fagu Chauhan hails from Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. He has been a six-time BJP MLA from the Ghosi assembly seat of Mau district of UP. He was made the Governor of Bihar on 29 July 2019.
