Election Commission Meeting For Himachal Pradesh Election With Congress BJP And Opposition Parties ANN

Himachal Pradesh Election: The team of the Central Election Commission, which arrived on a three-day tour ahead of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, held a meeting with representatives of all parties in Shimla on Friday. In which the political parties suggested to the commission’s team and appealed to conduct elections quickly and with transparency. CPIM demanded simultaneous elections in Gujarat and Himachal.

After the meeting with the Central Election Commission team, Communist Party of India MLA Rakesh Singha said that positive discussions have taken place in the meeting with the team of the Commission. Keeping in mind the geographical situation of Himachal Pradesh, the party has been urged to conduct elections. This time the snowfall has started in the high altitude areas of the state, in such a way that everyone gets an equal chance to vote, so the election has also been asked to be held around November 20.

What did Congress say?
Congress Legal Cell member Sushant Kaparet said that along with conducting the elections on time, the team of the commission has also appealed to impose the election code of conduct at the earliest. The matter of extravagance being done by the BJP government has also been raised in front of the Election Commission. Along with this, the Congress party also asked to increase the number of polling booths in the state so that more and more people can come to vote. Apart from this, the administrative officers posted at the same place for more than three years have also been asked to be transferred.

The team of the Central Election Commission is on a tour of Himachal Pradesh till September 24. After the meeting with the political parties, the Election Commission is holding a meeting with the Chief Secretary, DGP, DC, SP Police Nodal Officers.
