An unknown person made a video call on WhatsApp to a person living in Santa Cruz and told him that there is destruction in India through bomb blast.

After this phone call, a person living in Santa Cruz has given a complaint to the Mumbai Police about this. The identity of the caller is being ascertained.

Threat to blast through call

According to the information, the person to whom the call was received, he is associated with a political party and he is an office-bearer of his party. On the basis of this information, the police took the complaint of the complainant and registered a case under section 506(2) of the IPC against the unknown person who made the video call on WhatsApp. According to police sources, the identity of the caller is being ascertained and his address has been traced by the police.
A police team has been sent to nab him.

Rumors of bombs were also blown up in Zaveri Bazar

Let us tell you that earlier on 19 September, Mumbai Police of Maharashtra arrested a person who had made false threats of bombs in Zaveri Bazar. A man named Dinesh Sutar, a resident of Zaveri Bazar area, had allegedly spread the rumor of a bomb in a building in the area. The accused had called the control room of Mumbai Police, after which the police swung into action.

Mumbai traffic police was also threatened

More recently, Mumbai’s traffic police was threatened with 26/11-like attacks. The threat sent a message on the WhatsApp number of the traffic control saying that there is a possibility of an attack like 26/11 in Mumbai. The person making the threat had told that on tracing his location, he would look outside India and the blast would happen in Mumbai.
