Poster War In Bengaluru : Countering the Congress poster, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also targeted the Congress by releasing a new poster. In this poster, there is also a photo of state president DK Shiv Kumar along with Congress party leader of opposition and former CM Siddaramaiah. The tagline ‘Rado and ED’ is written at the bottom of this poster. Here the meaning of redo is related to the alleged 600 acres of land scam, in which the name of the former CM is named and the reason for writing ED is that the state president is also under ED investigation.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai termed all the allegations of Congress as baseless and termed his campaign as fake and political. BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel targeted the Congress and said that the Congress is making baseless and false allegations against the Chief Minister. This allegation of Congress has insulted the state of Karnataka.

Congress targeted through poster

Let us tell you that the Congress had targeted the BJP through its new campaign “PAYCM”. In this campaign, she had put a QR code on the poster with the face of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. At the bottom of this poster is written “40 percent is taken here”. This code seemed to be similar to the QR code of Paytm. Scanning this code will take you directly to a website created by Congress.

Let us tell you that by scanning this QR code, people reach the ’40 percent government’ website recently launched by the Congress for complaints of bribery. The Congress had alleged that the Karnataka government takes 40 percent commission for awarding contracts for public works to contractors.

Posters put up in BJP office
Congress also put up this poster in BJP’s Nelamangala office near Bangalore and after that shared the pictures of this poster on social media as well. On getting information about this matter, Karnataka Police removed all the posters in the city and on Wednesday The former chief of the social media party of the Karnataka unit of Congress, BR Naidu was also arrested. Police registered a case against him under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.

Congress wants to make issue
The Congress party is trying to raise the issue of the death of contractor Santosh Patil, who had committed suicide in a hotel in Udupi earlier this year, ahead of the assembly elections in the state. Serious allegations were leveled against Raj Minister KS Eshwarappa. He had said that he was seeking a 40 per cent ‘cut’ for a government job in his district. Eshwarappa had resigned following the allegations. However, he got a clean chit in the police investigation.
